The Plateau Tassili N'ajjer trek is an unforgettable journey through the beautiful and ancient Tassili N'ajjer plateau, located in the southeast of Algeria. This five-day trek takes you on an adventure of a lifetime, through stunning landscapes, beautiful rock formations, and past some of the most impressive rock paintings and engravings in the world.

PROGRAM OF PLATEAU TASSILI N'AJJER TREK 5-DAY FROM DJANET IN SAHARA DESERT TOUR

* DAY 1: DJANET - TAFILILAT - TAMRIT CAMPING

On arrival in Djanet, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to Akba Tafelalt, the Plateau of Tassili N'ajjer. After breakfast, we will pack our luggage on the back of the donkeys and start walking with our guide to reach the top of the plateau of Tassili N’ajjer. This will be a long walk of about 7 to 8 hours, but the stunning views along the way make it all worthwhile. During the walk, we will visit the Cypresses Valley of Tamrit and the Big Canyon of Tamrit. Our destination for the day is TIN ZOUMATIK, where we will see beautiful rock paintings before settling into our camping site in Tamrit.

* DAY 2: TAMRIT - SAFAR CAMPING

After breakfast, we will start walking with our guide and visit IN ALIWAN, which features beautiful mountains and WAN TOUHAMI, which boasts stunning rock paintings. Our destination for the day is Safar, where we will have lunch before visiting many more beautiful rock paintings in the area. Our camping site will be in Safar.

* DAY 3:  SAFAR - TIN TAZARIFT - IN ITINAN CAMPING

In the morning, we will continue our journey with our guide to visit BLACK SAFAR before reaching TIN TAZARIFT, which features beautiful rock paintings. We will then continue walking to IN ITINAN, where we will be surrounded by beautiful landscapes and mountains. Our camping site for the night will be in In Itinan.

* DAY 4: IN ITINAN - IN AGHRBN CAMPING

We will start walking with our guide and enjoy the beautiful landscapes on our way to our destination of In Aghrbn.

* DAY 5: DJANET HOTEL

After breakfast, we will walk back to Djanet, where we will arrive midday. After lunch in the desert, we will transfer you to your hotel for some rest. In the afternoon, we will visit Djanet National Park Museum and Tuareg's Market, as well as Djanet's old town. Dinner will be at the hotel before transferring you to the airport for a midnight flight.

On next day of the tour, you will take a flight from Djanet to Algiers and then back home.
